Best eight scores
The highest total from a runner’s best eight races decides the main league.

City of Hull Champagne League
A limited-place road-and-trail series from March to July. Goole Viking Striders joined the league in 2023.

Format
The first race establishes a benchmark; the remaining races use handicap formats so improvement matters as much as outright speed. Races seven and eight use staggered starts, with slower predicted runners setting off first.
